Blind Date - PC

Blind Date is an interactive dating adventure that runs under windows.

Inorder to run this game more efficiently you should install it onto your
hard disk. To install the program along with Quicktime for windows,
run the install program on the Blindate CD-ROM.  The install program will
create a directory named "Blindate" where the game will be launched from
and games will be saved to. You will need to restart windows if you are
installing from windows for the program icon and group to be added.

Run the game from windows by double clicking the Blind Date icon in the
Trimark Software Group of the program manager. If the icon and group were
not installed then double click on the Blindate.exe program on the CD.
You can abort the program at any time by pressing <esc>. You can also skip
videos you have already seen be clicking on the video window to stop
playback and bring up the next responses.

If you have trouble saving games then you should know that when saving
games you will need to specify a writable location for the saved game.
The defualt directory will be where you started the game from, so if
you ran it from the CD you need to change drives when saving a game.

If you experiece video skipping or audio drop outs, make sure you have
no other programs running at the same time, try inscreasing the virtual
memory swap file, make sure you have the latest drives for all your audio
and video hardware, make sure you have at least 4MB RAM installed,
preferably 8.

This game is designed to work on a 386 25-MHZ or better processor with
8MD of RAM recommended and a double speed CD-ROM drive.  You should run
the game in 256 color mode or in 65K color mode with a screen resolution
of 640x480.  If you have problems in 65k mode, then try 256 color mode.
